It has been a long time since I first started using Splash Pro EX as my main movie player. The Splash Player offers smooth 60fps motion, detail enhancement, and color improvement. I've often compared it to VLC and MPC-HC, but I can't switch back to those options even with SVP—it just doesn’t compare well. Why am I sharing this? I’m tired of Splash’s shortcomings. It struggles to read subtitles accurately. If a subtitle is colored, the screen displays strange numbers, messing up the subtitle order. When subtitles aren’t at the bottom, it forces them there, skipping the previous one before it should. It also can’t handle 10-bit video properly. Please, anyone who can assist me would be greatly appreciated. I’m looking for a better alternative that matches VLC or MPC-HC in versatility. Personally, I think VLC and MPC-HC are incredibly powerful—it can play anything. Playing at 60fps feels like watching a slideshow, and I’ve been searching for an MPC-HC plug-in on the internet, but it’s not ideal. There are still some artifacts even after adjusting settings many times. Help is needed! Smile
