I just assembled this system and it worked fine before connecting it to wifi, it also functioned properly in bios. I adjusted the resolution to 720p 1176 x 664 to prevent tearing for better visibility. If I try to set the resolution to pc 1920x1080 at 165hrz it turns black and stays until I change it back. If I keep it at 1080 ultra HD it tears badly enough to likely cause a seizure. The build uses a Ryzen 7900x CPU, an ASUS ROG Strix B650e-f motherboard, and a 3080 graphics card. Please send help—I have no idea what to do. It's a fresh Windows install, I've installed GeForce Experience and updated the drivers after it started tearing, but that didn't resolve the issue. The graphics car was from my previous build, so I'm confident it should work now.

to address screen tearing on your desktop using NVIDIA, you must turn on VSync within the NVIDIA global settings.

It seems the newest Nvidia driver was installed recently, but there are still issues. It might be related to the driver rather than a general screen tearing problem. If you're experiencing strange glitches, the driver update could be the cause. Try installing different versions from the Geforce driver page. Others have reported similar display problems with the latest driver.
