I just connected my new setup online. I upgraded to a Ryzen 9 7950x3D, a Tuf Gaming B650-Plus WIFI, and the Zotac RTX 3060 TI. After installing everything, I encountered issues where my main monitor would flash black and display screen artifacts like bars across the screen. I verified that the output resolution and refresh rate matched my monitor, but both FreeSync Premium and HDR were disabled in the Nvidia Control Panel. I noticed the problem mainly appeared when checking Task Manager, with noticeable CPU spikes on certain threads or groups. This issue only occurred with the first monitor, which is a specific model I can’t locate online. I’m unsure what’s causing it and feel stuck without a clear solution. One thing is clear—I prefer my old system, which still runs smoothly, over dealing with this troubleshooting. My GPU isn’t powerful enough for the CPU to run at full capacity, and I was planning another upgrade later. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Edit: the black screens sometimes line up with CPU spikes, though not always.
