HTC and PROCHOT EX throttling even when CPU temp is normal might indicate a bug. Updating the BIOS could help. As mentioned on HWInfo forums, sometimes the issue stems from overheating components like the chipset or VRM. https://www.hwinfo.com/forum/threads/wha...mean.6073/ Also, look into Ryzen Master for more details... https://community.amd.com/thread/250048

I'll perform some checks, then attempt to update the BIOS. If that fails, I'll proceed with a system recovery.

I began the HP diagnostics and it stopped working for about ten minutes. I gave up and pressed the power button. After turning it back on, everything is normal.

It's an HP Ryzen laptop, but I can't identify the exact model. You may want to verify for any newer BIOS updates online or through the manufacturer's support portal.

The system is now functioning properly. I didn’t need to perform a BIOS update. I looked up my model on the HP website and found no available updates. My device is an HP cw-1063wm.
