Hello everyone, with the GPU situation I chose to assemble a basic PC with these details: Ryzen 5 3400G, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, dual-channel at 2666 MHz. I understand APUs rely on RAM speed, but my setup struggles significantly—only about 15 FPS in most games and 720p at low settings. While benchmarks show others get much more performance, I’m unsure what could be causing the issue. If you have any tips or suggestions, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

Check the remaining components like the motherboard, power supply, storage, etc. Monitor the CPU temperatures during gameplay. Check core-level CPU usage and GPU utilization.

Mobo is Asus a320m k, I store my files on a 500gb SSD. Temperatures stay around 60-70°C now. The CPU usage in demanding games like AAA sits between 30-50%, while the GPU stays near 100% regardless of the game. I've tried everything—from updating BIOS to reinstalling drivers—but nothing helps and it's frustrating.

What is the latency? The memory speed is decent but may be even slower. For models like CL16 it's quite poor, while CL19 or higher is extremely bad. Be sure to use the response button so we can review your answers. I'm not sure if this motherboard supports RAM overclocking, but if it does, you should consider trying it.
