Hello everyone, I own a PC with the following setup: Ryzen 2700 Asus Prime X470, 16 GB Corsair Vengeance 3200 MHz RAM, 500 GB Samsung NVMe SSD, and an Asus RTX 2070 Corsair RM650X. Recently, my CPU doesn’t reach 4.1 GHz even during benchmark tests like CineBench. The temperature stays below +50°C, and Turbo Boost appears to be active in the BIOS. I’m wondering if there’s something I’m overlooking to turn on Turbo Boost for my CPU. Thanks for any advice!

The 4.1ghz operates as a single core XFR boost, usually reaching this speed when idle. At 3.4ghz it runs all cores at full boost, while 3.2ghz is the base clock in maximum power mode. For accurate readings, use HWInfo64; screen captures provide around 1000 words of detail. Temperatures on the screen are key indicators and will show how the boost frequency behaves. Running under normal conditions works fine. You might try boosting PBO or CPB settings to potentially achieve a higher frequency—provided those temperatures stay low enough.
