Your system uses Ubuntu 20.04 and you want to reach a web page from your public IP address. If you try forwarding the IP, it may not work properly.

Do you have CGNAT enabled? Are there any restrictions on the ports? How are you verifying it outside the network?

I don't understand why I'm trying to reach the page using my public IP address. It seems my local IP isn't working either.

Is it connected to your local network? Try testing from outside your network using a phone with Wi-Fi disabled.

Does your router have CG-NAT enabled? Are your private IP address identical to your public IP address?

I don't understand what CG nat means. I assumed I hadn't installed anything related to it.

It would be handled by your ISP, eliminating the need for any action from you. If the IP address you have is CGNAT and port forwarding isn't possible, reach out to your ISP for a non-CGNAT IP or consider using IPv6.

You can use IPv6 and purchase a VPS with a setup, or install a VPN on that device. Just contact your ISP for the simplest option.
