I'm having trouble setting up port forwarding even though the instructions look correct on portforward.com or Xbox. My modem and router are a ZTE F680.

Check if your operating system is routing ports and whether you're using a fiber link. Also, confirm if your internet service provider employs CG-NAT.

It was only needed on the modem site, but I reset the modem factory settings because of issues. After that, everything worked, and I’m unsure about port forwarding in Windows.
Yes, A is correct.
I used CG NAT before switching to a public IP from my ISP.
