Also, it doesn't function when you enter 192.168.1.100 to start the IP address and 192.168.1.200 to change it. What should I do so it works? I'm setting up a Minecraft server to play with friends.

I haven't encountered a router that requires such a specification. Could you share the model with me?

This doesn't make sense; the router doesn't require you to set the WAN IP address—it manages it automatically.

Well, what’s the problem? Is your server stopping? Do you have the correct one in your Minecraft server settings? I just set up a Linux Minecraft server. The concept of port forwarding is having a fixed static IP for others to reach, then they connect to your PC's possibly changing IP. In server properties, your tunnel IP should be your static IP. Start: the static IP, End: your PC's IP. I use Windscribe portforwarding, so in my settings it’s tun0 IP (which changes sometimes). Start: static IP, End: my PC's IP address. A warning appears: your hosting PC can’t connect to the server or it will break. Your tunnel IP isn’t your static one. If you’re not using a third-party port forward, there’s likely no tunnel. Also, the IPv4 in connection info is the “your PC's IP” part. Try adjusting server properties: PC's IP, start: static, end: PC's IP. Hope this helps.

This involves setting up a dynamic DNS and port forwarding to let the device route traffic correctly. The tunnel was likely created in Linux, but it doesn’t assist the user unless your ISP uses tunneling for the service.

didn't you see the second half of my post at the bottom? he didn't mention whether he used a router with a static IP address or a third-party one, so i added both options. the tunnel ip comes from a third-party static IP, which is why I included it. the part saying "so try" is what the op needs to attempt. @Master Disaster

There are no crashes in the server. The issue is I can't open a port.

You should type your starting IP address followed by a space, then your ending IP address, separated by a period.

The static IP is 192.168.x.xxx, while the random ones are different for each PC.
