Issue with red DRAM illumination during startup and failure to boot PC.
Details: gigabyte B650 Auros Elite AX asus dual 4070 Ryzen 7 7800X3D GSKILL Flare X5 DDR5 6000 2x16 Western Digital SSD. Hello, I've been attempting to boot my new machine for some time; everything is brand new. I only tested the GPU on another system and it functioned perfectly. Today I assembled all components and when I power on the PC I see a red DRAM indicator, but the computer won't start and no output appears on the screen. Things I've tried: 1. Almost every possible RAM setting, resetting CMOS after each attempt 2. Updated BIOS via the "q-flash" method on the motherboard, which appears to have worked (though it's hard to confirm without a boot). I understand it might be minimal, but based on what I've read, that's roughly the extent people typically need to go.
It seems your memory might be unclear or there could be an issue with the hardware. Are you testing one stick at a time? Consider running the PC without the GPU temporarily and try using igpu on the 7800X3D.
I've been testing various RAM options, but it seems the new components aren't working. The motherboard and CPU are also brand new.
I checked the manual, everything is correctly placed and works together.
It seems the motherboard might be the issue. You mentioned the CPU power is connected via the PSU, so that part appears to be in place.
I don’t understand bios well since there’s no boot at all. I tried linking it to a monitor with various RAM settings, but it didn’t work.
Everything works together seamlessly, I truly wish it isn’t the motherboard—since it’s brand new and already my second one.
