Hi! I see you're dealing with an MSI 990FXA board and a Sandisk Ultra II SSD in ACHI mode. When trying to use MSI Fast Boot on Windows 10, it reports it can't find the OS. You don’t need to reinstall anything—look for a workaround like enabling the correct boot options or checking if the SSD is properly recognized.

Initially, it's just an operating system, not a software installation.

What's the second one? Avoid Fast Boot—it only speeds up startup a bit, not much, and it doesn’t improve frame rates.

Fastboot might disrupt the boot sequence, so avoid using it. Occasionally the BIOS struggles to recognize drives quickly, resulting in just two options available.

You're using an SSD but still needing a quick startup. It might be disrupting the boot sequence or not properly recognizing the operating system drive.

Are you looking for alternative options in your system? For testing, you can disconnect everything except your SSD. Ensure it's connected via the SATA-0 port and that multiple SATA controllers are linked from the main controller. Another approach is to prioritize booting from the SSD rather than a standard drive.

Disconnected the remaining two drives, then linked the SSD to SATA port 0 on the board. When Fastboot was activated, it reported no operating system detected.

The CSM module is not explicitly enabled or disabled in the UEFI configuration. Its status depends on the system settings and firmware options.
