Hi, I just completed my PC upgrade but when setting it up I noticed the RAM lights up when I put the computer to sleep. I tried everything. First, I installed Gigabyte RGB Fusion, but it didn’t recognize my RAM and the software was really bad. Then I looked up ErP online and got some advice, but my old Gigabyte BIOS only had an option for power off (S5) not S4 + S5. Finally, I installed XPG RGB Sync Beta which can control the RAM, but there’s no way to turn it off when sleeping. Please help... Software: Windows 10 Pro 64bit > XPG RGB Sync Beta > Wraith Prism (for AMD Ryzen 7 2700X) Hardware: Motherboard - GIGABYTE B450 DS3H CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 2700X RAM - XPG SPECTRIX D41 3000MHz 2x8GB GPU - ASUS NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 950 2G. Thanks for your help.

The RGB setup operates separately from the computer’s running state and functions as long as the RAM receives power. Because S3 sleep disables most components except RAM, the RGB will continue functioning. You can check for an option in the RAM’s control software, disable the RGB before sleeping, or accept the current setting.

A lot of chaos exists in the RGB godness because there are many software options, making it hard for anyone to work smoothly. You can still influence your RAM using tools like Aura Sync or ASRock RGB.

RAM stays active even after turning off your PC. It works separately from the system. I suggest using the RGB control app for your RAM and turning off the color features before sleeping your computer.

Sleep mode keeps your PC's state in RAM, ensuring it remains active to preserve the current state. You cannot disable it. Consider turning off all RGB lights or attempting a hibernate option.

Great, it seems I can't manage my RAM with XPG RGB Sync Beta anymore—it's causing frequent crashes.
