I assembled my initial computer and have a Gigabyte B450 H M motherboard, Ryzen 5 3600, InnoTech 1660 Super, and an Adata Gamma X8X2 at 3000MHz. It isn’t working properly on 3000MHz. Can you assist me? I’m completely new to building and using PCs.

Power off the machine and use the designated key to access BIOS. When the screen displays the system logo (usually the delete key), press it. Activate the XMP profile setting, then confirm by saving changes and exiting.

Confirmed the disabled setting, clicked on it, selected "Profile 1," saved, and exited.

It's showing 3000MHz but appears as 1500MHz. DDR means Double Data Rate, so the actual speed is half what it claims. The real frequency is often called Megatransfer/s, though most people don't use that term.

When XMP was enabled, it would run at its rated speed of 3000MHz (1500×2). I tried to explain it clearly—let me know if you need more details.
