Hello, I recently added a second 2x8GB DDR4 kit to my system. My current setup has 24GB RAM split between the new 8GB module and the existing 4GB modules. After the upgrade, my RAM speed dropped from 2666MHz to 2400MHz. The UEFI still shows the 2666MHz profile selected. I suspect the voltage might be too low, which is why I’m hesitant to change it. It’s possible that with more RAM, performance naturally decreases. My motherboard specs are: i5-8600K, GTX1060 (6GB VRAM), MSI Z370 Mainboard, 2x4GB RAM CL16 at 2666MHz, and 2x8GB RAM CL16 at 3200MHz. If you have any advice, please let me know. Nuyrux.
Have you attempted a system reset and noticed the issue becomes visible in Task Manager while reviewing your RAM details?
