Hey there, so the game runs just fine, no big problems. But once I start Spotify for some great music, the Pubg menu and loading times get really slow—often around 1 to 2 frames per second. It takes a long time to finish loading, and it keeps happening until I restart my whole PC, even though I ended the process for both Spotify and Spotify Webplayer. This has been going on for months now. The Pubg support is useless, and the forums don’t help much. If anyone else has faced this or knows a solution, please let me know.

Also, my setup is: Pubg on SSD, Spotify on HDD, two GTX 970 graphics cards, 16 GB RAM, I5-4690K processor, running Windows 7.

Cheers!

It's a recognized problem that has persisted for several years, though improvements have been made recently since Spotify stopped using peer-to-peer downloads. When playing music, the app stores downloads locally, which can cause lag spikes when switching songs via the web player. The issue may be resolved by reducing Spotify's cache or turning off hardware acceleration in the app settings.
