I built my new PC today and it started up properly. I installed Windows and all my apps, but had to reach out to Microsoft support for activation help. Once that was resolved, the machine froze and became unresponsive. I turned it off briefly to see if it would work again, then rebooted via BIOS. The RAM speed was higher than what my CPU could handle, so I tried lowering it below 5400mhz, but it still wouldn’t boot. After resetting to 6400mhz, it booted but crashed after about a minute. The RAM and CPU indicators would flash on the motherboard sometimes. TL;DR: RAM speed too high, PC crashes when low, then freezes again.

I would simply turn on XMP.

Occasionally the system starts but then stops right away, and there were instances where it froze while the Task Manager displayed a high CPU usage of 4.8 GHz, though the actual value was only 3.5 GHz.
