My pc experiences random crashes over the past year. It tends to crash less during gaming, perhaps only a couple times daily, but more frequently when using Google Chrome. Temperature checks came back normal, and RAM diagnostics showed no issues. I’ve already updated graphics drivers, Windows, and examined the Event Viewer, which didn’t reveal anything specific. My hardware includes an ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER ROG Strix, AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO DDR4 3200MHz 16GB, ASUS ROG Strix B450-F gaming motherboard, and a Corsair TX650M 650W PSU.

Hey there,
Which BIOS version are you using on the motherboard?
The Corsair TXM is at least 650w for a 2080 Super. I'm considering a 750w minimum.
What occurs during a crash? Does it go to desktop, play a sound, or just restart?

In Chrome's Settings, under System, check if graphics acceleration is enabled. If not, consider disabling it to determine if the issue lies with the graphics driver.

I believe the bios is named ROG UEFI Bios.
During crashes, a blue screen shows up and the system restarts automatically. The process brings me back to the bios without any distinct noises (except changes in fan speed during restart).
Initially, I could move my cursor and hover over apps on my desktop, but clicking them didn't trigger anything. This situation hasn't been consistent for a long time now.

I had it activated, yes. Now I'm turning it off again. I'll check if it improves.

Use CPU-z to navigate to the mainboard section and check the BIOS version. Updating the BIOS might fix the problem if it hasn't been done yet.
