Issue with PC activation despite connecting the power supply to the motherboard.
Hi guys, I faced an issue when turning on the PC yesterday. Suddenly it stopped powering up. I had experienced this before, but I tried connecting the PSU by unplugging and plugging it back in, which worked this time. I removed the motherboard and case, used a paperclip to short the 4 and 5 pins if it was a 24-pin, and the PSU worked fine for fans and RGB. However, when I reconnected it to the motherboard and tried jumpstarting with a screwdriver, it didn’t work. I also reinserted fans, RAM, 8-pin CPU, and 24-pin, but nothing functioned properly. Please help.
Additionally, there are no LED or beep indicators visible on the motherboard. It seems they weren't installed by default, so I can't verify if it's receiving power from the PSU. However, it should function properly without being connected to the motherboard.
I connected the 8 pin, but I didn't notice any reaction from any part when attempting to jump start it. It seems the LED indicator wasn't installed in the MOBO, and there are some debug lights available but they aren't turning on.
