Hi everyone, I encountered an unusual problem recently. Plugging the PSU into the motherboard causes it to illuminate. Pressing the power button gets it running, but inserting the CPU doesn’t start it. Once the CPU is in place, there’s no sound from the speaker—only the CPU fan spinning very slightly before it stops and the power button fails. When I disconnect and reconnect the PSU, the same behavior repeats. I’m using a P6T Deluxe V2 motherboard with i7 950 and i7 920 processors. I’ve tried swapping the CMOS battery, resetting it, installing a BIOS chip with the latest version (1202) and the original BIOS (0302), but nothing changes. The PSU works with an i7 4790K and GTX 1070, so it seems the issue isn’t with the PSU itself. I’m really puzzled and would appreciate any advice. Thank you.

No, I didn't check the socket.

Yeah, I checked and I found one way before I started worrying. I triple checked all the pins but now they're all straight.
