Issue with non-boot drive leading to failure during startup
or D4 installation drive (F, but it froze while loading Windows on a SATA port connected to a partitioned drive labeled "Partitioned 
" and ":E". I’m trying to fix this by reinstalling Windows with the drive unplugged, but it still doesn’t boot properly. I’ve checked BIOS settings and other options, but something seems missing. Additional system details: i7-8700K, Gigabyte z370 gaming, 500GB NVMe, 2TB HDD, 2TB NVMe for storage. Any advice would be appreciated—I’m really stuck.

08-27-2017, 05:54 PM #2You're unsure why the PC isn't starting after a clean install, even though the problematic drive remains connected. It seems the drive might be damaged.
