Sorry, I didn't receive a response sooner, but I tried this and it didn't work. Nothing happened. I also noticed the speaker connected to the header on the motherboard.

You need to make sure it starts beeping before confirming. This indicates the CPU is active. Remove the memory and cards, then verify all connections, especially the 12V CPU cable.

Let it operate without any RAM, GPU, or beeping for about eight minutes. Just the HDD access light should flash three times in a row repeatedly.

No power through USB ports, no signal to the old red optical mouse or lighting of keyboard and no boot, no post, no bios. As old as this stuff is it isn't worth the headache and theres very little else it could be honestly.
