Hi all,
I've been using the new computer build without any problems for several months. It's running Windows 11 Pro with the blue checkmark enabled for Bluetooth device discovery. When I switch on the speakers, both my iPhone and laptop detect them instantly. However, my desktop doesn't show up at all. There seems to be a setting or step missing in the setup process. Even when connecting via the red and white RCA cables, only two audio sources appear under Sound Settings: "AORUS FO32U2P nvidia High Definition Audio Default device" and "Realtek Digital Output Realtek ® Audio Enabled."

(Note: During initial Windows setup, I had confusion about installing audio drivers, and I'm unsure if both should be installed.)

I don't have clear guidance on what details to share. Please feel free to ask for advice. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Nope, that's the one you're referring to—just wanted to double-check because I forgot the first time I tried using BT on my desktop since I hadn't been using Wi-Fi and hadn't considered it.

The default playback device in Control Panel/Sound is typically the system's primary audio output, such as the speakers or headphones connected to the device.

When you choose the NVIDIA option, sound is sent to your display. Picking Realtek as the audio source should activate the "line out" port on your motherboard. Then you should be able to connect the red/white cable to your speakers.

It should clearly indicate the presence of a Realtek component, either through a driver problem or an incorrect device selection. Also, is the antenna properly connected on the BT side?

Right now I use NVIDIA selected. The red/white cables in the headphone port at the back of my monitor are working, but the speakers aren't very loud even at full volume. I'd like them to be a bit louder. Would enabling Realtek and connecting to the motherboard help? I prefer not to have a cable in the front of the case, so I think plugging directly into the MB on the rear panel would work. The downside of my case is that I need to remove parts to access the rear panel, making it tricky to swap things easily. Or am I missing something to boost the volume? The sound mixer and system tray icon show we're already at full volume.

The reviews say these speakers are great for audio, but they don't fill up a small room well. Even when sitting right in front of them, it's not very satisfying.

I also have the wifi antenna connected. Is there another one for BT?

Nope that's the one, just wanted to make sure as I forgot the first time I went to use BT on my desktop since I wasn't using Wi-Fi and hadn't thought about it.
I have basically the next model up (M60) from those and at maximum volume I can hear them on the opposite side of our house (~60ft away down two halls). Mine aren't going to be
that
much better than yours so there's an input problem. Do you have volume issues when connected via BT to your other devices? (I haven't used BT on mine yet)
Is there any sort of volume control/limit on the monitor itself? I wouldn't really think so, but if so maybe that's limiting maximum output.

Perfect! The monitor volume was at 30%. Raising it to 100% lets me control the speakers freely to any level I desire. Thanks a lot!
