Hi all,
I’m experiencing an unusual situation with MSI Afterburner on startup. (My GPU is an EVGA 1080ti SC2). When I shut down my PC with the OC profile active—covering clock curve, power, memory, and fan speed—I see it restart automatically with those settings applied, without reverting to factory defaults. The "Startup" option isn’t selected on the MSI Afterburner interface, nor are the startup or launch-on-startup settings enabled in the system. It doesn’t appear as a startup application in the control panel or Task Manager either.

I haven’t used extreme overclocking and haven’t manually reset Afterburner before shutdown, but this unexpected behavior is unsettling and feels unstable. This issue didn’t occur during my first week of using Afterburner. I attempted to uninstall, clear settings, and reinstall, but it didn’t fix the problem.

Could anyone suggest a solution? Should I reinstall my GPU drivers, reset the BIOS, or is there another setting I missed? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

It isn't restarting Afterburner during Windows startup, and that's the intended setting. This is how it should be configured.

You might need to remove the OC profile you made.
