Issue with motherboard mounting bracket alignment!

I fixed my friend's PC and the repair shop they sent it to messed up two screws on two motherboard stands. They won't let go, and I've tried using pliers but it didn't work. Now the board is stuck between the stands. I really need some help here—any advice would be great.

They seem unwilling to repair it, and the police stated there’s nothing they can do except file a lawsuit, incurring substantial legal costs.

I don’t have a suitable drill bit, and my friend doesn’t want me to risk damaging the motherboard.

They come in a compact socket package. The stand-off and screw head are usually hex-shaped and feature a Phillips screw center.
