Issue with minor pixel distortion while watching films on a TV using a USB drive.
After downloading torrents, I frequently copy the finished .mp4 file onto a USB stick. I then insert the USB into my TV and watch it there. I often experience pixelation similar to the one shown in the attached image, which lasts around 10 seconds. When playing the movie directly on my PC, I don’t encounter this issue. However, sometimes during the visible pixelation on the TV, I receive an error message indicating the file is corrupted or something like that, and I am redirected back to the file selection menu. This occasionally stops me from watching, because if I click the movie, it restarts from where I left off. Since the error occurs at the same point each time, it can disrupt my viewing. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this problem. Thanks in advance!
Because they can be accessed from your PC, I suspect there might be a buffering issue; your computer handles more data than your TV does. These USB drives could be among the quickest options for the USB port on your television. Faster drives might speed up data transfer and remove buffering problems.
