Optimize Minecraft Java by restricting resource allocation. Set RAM to 4GB and cap FPS at 200. Monitor performance—some players reach 3000fps, but it drops to 20fps in half a second before rebounding.
yeah i only have 4gb allocated i am using launcher multi mc and use this java argument -XX:+UseZGC -XX:+ZGenerational capping the fps just makes it worse i don't see my framerate ever dip down though it always stays pretty high but stutters below is a clip 8mb.video-zYg-rQWy9nsu.mp4
Increase your game's priority in the task manager above standard levels. Open it while playing, right-click the app, select details to adjust settings. Reset your game configuration and check if performance improves. If stuttering persists, consider using a different launcher—SK is optimized, but you can try GD or Tlauncher. Disable dynamic terrain generation as it loads terrain even when stationary. For version 1.16, watch this video (mod list for 1.20) and download mods to boost performance. If mods don’t help, switch launchers.
