I just completed my latest setup using an A8-6600k and R7 240 graphics card, all on a budget plan. I transferred my .minecraft files onto a flash drive and uploaded them to Roaming. When I launched the launcher and started playing, nothing happened. The program closed immediately, which was puzzling since I've done this before. I checked Task Manager but found nothing. It's frustrating because I really wanted to enjoy this on my new rig. Any advice would be great. Thanks, Cheif Crash Log; ---- Minecraft Crash Report ----
This isn't making sense at all! Time: 11/3/14 8:34 PM
Description: Initializing game org.lwjgl.LWJGLException – Pixel format not accelerated at org.lwjgl.opengl.WindowsPeerInfo.nChoosePixelFormat(...)
Stack trace shows a deep dive into the error, pointing to issues with OpenGL context and memory allocation.
System info: Minecraft 1.8, Windows 7 (x86), Java 1.8.0_25, Java HotSpot VM running.
Debug details: No OpenGL context detected in the current thread. GL settings indicate VBO usage but no progress.
Help needed here – any insight would help a lot. Appreciate it!

If Java isn't installed, download it again from the MC website. Install it before proceeding.

Remove the .minecraft directory, then reinstall the launcher for your operating system from minecraft.net and download the newest Minecraft version via the launcher.

Minecraft relies on LWJGL with OpenGL. The issue seems linked to the drivers mentioned in that thread.
