Hello I have an old pc System config Intel core 2 quad q6700 Gigabyte GA-P41T-D3 8 GB ram ddr3 12800s 1600mhz The Motherboard ram specs is 1333mhz But the ram specs I have is 1600mhz The windows in the task manager show me the ram mhz is 800 why ? And what is the difference between ddr3 12800s and ddr3 12800 without the "s"

Avoid opening Task Manager; use CPU-Z for accurate readings. It will process only half the data rate (such as 1333 and 1600) since DDR memory doubles its actual frequency (DDR = double data rate). 2. S usually refers to SODIMM, a compact form used mainly in laptops, not common in desktops. I’m not certain about that.
