I attempted to adjust the track pad cable and enter safe mode, but it didn’t resolve the issue. The screen flashes purple when the laptop is powered off, aside from normal operation. It seems there might be another problem beyond a logic board fault, though I’m not certain what else to try besides that. Apple suggested a $600 fix, which isn’t an option for me right now.
