I purchased an M.2 and attempted to fit it into the motherboard slot, but with my RTX 2060 it failed. I then bought a PCIe expansion card, yet it still didn’t work. I’m unsure what to do first; time is running out for a return of the M.2 if it doesn’t function. Here are the items I own:

System setup:
- BIOS: E7B98IMS.140
- CPU: Intel Core i5-9600k @3.7GHz

- Storage: TOSHIBA-TR200 480GB + ST1000DM010-2EP102 2TB
- Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition
- Keyboard: Krom Kernel TKL
- Mouse: Razer Basilisk X
- Headset: Hyperx Cloud 2
- Display: aopen(china) 1080p

I need to decide whether to return the M.2 or proceed with alternatives.
