Lenovo ThinkPad T460 LCD and the cable are functioning properly. I removed the LCD cable from the motherboard and connected it to another laptop, which worked without problems. The HDMI connection also operated smoothly in the video. When I removed the RAM, it triggered a beep, but starting sounds were functional. After disconnecting all batteries and the CMOS battery, everything worked fine. The system started from USB with live Linux, and no issues were reported. Only the LCD screen was blank. For more details, see the video link provided.

The LCD and cable seem functional, but the HDMI output might be the problem. Check the port on the motherboard closely for visible issues like loose solder joints or damage.

Thanks for your reply. I agree it might still be faulty. I’m unsure if the lid sensor is the issue. The laptop assumes the lid is closed, which prevents turning on the LCD. Where exactly are the lid sensor or hall sensors located in the T460?

It might be another problem with the motherboard beyond the LCD connector. Perhaps certain traces on the board or a faulty chip could be causing the display issues.
