Can’t you organize your storage, remove or relocate files to free up space? Also, 60GB should work for Windows 10. Are you thinking you can’t make the installation disk because the drive is nearly full? Then refer to the previous steps or try a different computer.

You were thinking about upgrading your storage by reinstalling or cloning the drive to the larger SSD. Over time you've maximized space, but now you're ready for a fresh setup once the new SSD arrives. I assume you'll need to reinstall applications like Steam and other programs that were stored on the old drive.

I wouldn't try to restore a broken Windows setup, so a fresh installation is ideal. You can just set up Steam and move your game collection there, then redirect Steam to the new folder. Your savegames could be elsewhere, so remember those or use online saves for easy access. Most other applications will need reinstallation because they modify many parts of the Windows registry.
