It's a fluctuating experience but sometimes the launcher appears while the game doesn't start properly. I usually see the splash card, then nothing happens. It won't open on different monitors or when apps are running. I'm unsure if this is due to an update or just Windows 11 itself. I don’t think anyone else has reported this issue, and I’m not sure if a solution exists. Please share any information you have. Thanks!

This seems to occur across all games you've played? Are there any unnecessary programs like anti-virus or anti-malware installed that might be interfering with your system? If you notice a recurring issue and no such software is present, consider removing the operating system component you used and reinstalling Windows from scratch. This would involve completely erasing the drive. I still need more details about your PC specifications and further information to help diagnose the problem better.

Are you using TPM 2 or confident you're on securebot? Since ACs depend on these, it's important to verify.

To the best of my understanding, I don’t have any unnecessary software installed. I avoid pushing performance beyond what’s standard. My current setup includes: CPU – i5 9600k, GPU – MSI GTX 1660 Super, SSD – WD_BLACK NVMe 2TB, Power supply – Corsair CX650M.

Reviewed my BIOS settings and confirmed PTT TMP is set for software, not hardware. It appears the label matches the intended use.

If someone else built your PC, they might have tweaked the BIOS affecting it. Bloatware includes any installed programs like anti-malware, utility apps, or cleanup tools—make sure nothing is running. Remove all such software if possible. If you use MSI Afterburner or GPU adjustment tools, reset and uninstall them for testing. You can reinstall them later. For now, consider a clean Windows install from scratch using Rufus, wiping the drive first. Download the Windows copy through Rufus instead of the official site unless you manually choose it. Install only essential drivers and utilities, not any extra software. Once done, give it a try. Play games that don’t need launchers, such as GOG titles or other unconventional methods. If the problem appears immediately, a professional might be needed to check your hardware. I think a fresh Windows install should resolve this. P.S.: You can use a spare drive and avoid wiping the 2TB one for this test, or create a partition from the unused space.
