Issue with laptop fan spinning at a slower speed than maximum RPM
I just swapped out my left laptop fan because it began making grinding sounds, and I'm using LFC to manage the fans' speeds. On my original fans, they could spin up to 4400 rpm, but with the new ones it seems limited to 3700rpm. Is this a typical issue or are the fans operating at a different voltage?
It's actually quite fine, though it seems odd how the replacement fan limited the RPM. I'd rather have my fans running at full capacity for the best airflow, even if it means tolerating the noise.
