Issue with keyboard functionality following GPU upgrade.
Hi, I shared this on Reddit too. If you prefer a more direct reply, here’s the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/s/h1cZAwg1Ad. Any suggestions would be incredibly helpful. I recently upgraded my system with an AMD Radeon RX 7700XT. After installation, I restarted normally and saw it work well. But when trying to type in my pin, the keyboard became unresponsive instantly. I changed the USB port it was connected to and it worked briefly before failing again. Windows reports a malfunction, though I’ve used that keyboard without issues until now. I updated my GPU drivers and checked for the latest keyboard drivers—any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!
Have you attempted resetting the CMOS? Perhaps give it a try. I haven’t experienced anything similar before. It seems odd that the keyboard might fail at that moment. If that doesn’t help, consider testing it on another machine or using a different keyboard.
Check if your computer has USB ports on the case or the motherboard itself.
