I've been using the same Ryzen configuration for nearly a year now. Performance remains consistent, and I've adjusted all relevant settings, yet the idle temps in Windows stay around 50°C with frequent fluctuations. After switching to a Corsair AIO, temperatures haven't changed much. I've shared my current build link if any issues were missed by PC Parts Picker, along with a photo for reference. Please let me know if anyone can assist.

My typical peak CPU load is around 15%, especially when I'm not playing games or using AutoCAD. My processor speed remains consistently just a bit over 4.1 GHz.

Verify the temperature readings. Execute cinebench version 20 and ensure the peak temperature is recorded during the test.

The PCPartPicker interface is configured as private. We can't view the details. Does it feature a fully tempered glass front? That could significantly impact your thermal performance. You might want to take off the side panel, stress-test the system, and monitor temperatures. A 5*C temperature rise suggests airflow issues are likely.

50C isn't extreme, my PC operates around 45 during idle and 50 while gaming (GPU at 50, CPU at 60). That’s unusual but reflects temperature trends. It seems more about tweaking settings and fan adjustments than anything else. For instance, using Afterburner with a similar curve to Precision X keeps things cool under load—about 10°C warmer—but when I use Precision, the case stays cool even during long sessions. So you’ll need to try it out, start with all fans at full speed, and test through stress tests or games. That’s a good starting point. As a note, it does help a bit. Spoiler: it does.

I updated my parts list to remove privacy settings and adjusted the case design. It features an acrylic side panel with a mesh front. In Cinebench R20 it handled up to 69°C comfortably, keeping coolant temps below 35°C during tests. The stress test duration was shorter than my detailed CAD rendering sessions, which often last about 40 minutes. Including make load data, I observed temperatures around 80°C. My R20 score is 4171 for those interested, and the fan layout is: 2 front intakes, 3 exhausts, 1 rear, and 2 on top.
