Issue with GTA V screen tearing while using Vsync
On Windows 11, even with Vsync enabled for GTA V there are still screen tearing issues, unlike on Windows 10. Nvidia CP vsync is also active. I'm using the latest drivers from Windows Update, which have resolved black screen problems. Both Windows 11 and 10 are running the same GPU drivers, updated automatically by Windows. What might be causing this?
what does it mean when it says "won't even run my games"?
driver package 552.22 installs without issues,
but all games still crash or freeze with a black/blank screen?
no errors or crashes?
this could cause a much bigger problem if your card can't handle the Nvidia driver updates.
what happens if you install an older driver package?
have you tried limiting your frame rate to match your refresh rate?
are you using a g-sync display and have it enabled?
It looks like switching to 'Windows Borderless' instead of 'Fullscreen' in Graphics fixed the problem.
