Hi, I just bought a physical copy of GTA V after setting it up and registering my product in the social club and signing in to the app. I started the update, which is 8GB in size. For my internet speed, downloading would take roughly 9-10 hours. After about 5 minutes, it stops and shows errors like connection issues or server problems. I have a 2.5mbps connection, which seems fine for me. I’ve played 'The Elder Scrolls Online: TU' without issues and also play 'League of Legends' with speeds around 25-35ms. It looks like GTA 5 has a problem—this issue started 4 days ago, and I keep updating but still disconnect from the server.
Consider disabling antivirus software as they might prevent updates from installing
rockstar support is terrible. They just send you broken links that don’t work. This keeps happening every time I update the game. It disconnects after a few seconds, forcing me to re-download, and now I’m not playing GTA anymore—it’s a huge waste of money.
