I purchased an Asus TUF 4080 Super OC in January. Initially, temperatures were normal, averaging 60-70°C with hotspots below 85°C during load. Recently, fans are much noisier and I was surprised by the readings—core temps now range 70-75°C, and hotspot spikes to 102°C. Is that 102°C a safe hotspot? I was attempting an RMA with Asus, but they’re demanding $60 for one-way shipping even though the card remains under warranty. Edit: aside from driver updates, I haven’t changed anything else on my system. Before: Now

You were doing the same tasks initially to observe the 102C hotspot. Now you're likely running a more intense process, requiring greater GPU effort. The 102C hotspot isn't a major concern at this point.

Both results came from testing Timespy Xtreme benchmark.
