Issue with GPU performance not meeting expected frequencies.
Hey there, I've encountered some problems with my new GPU as well. It's a 5070 TI, and after checking the specs on TechPowerUp (https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/ms...-oc.b12202), it claims the GPU should hit speeds from 2295 to 2482 MHz and draw up to 300W. In my setup, without overclocking, I'm seeing around 1350 to 1400 MHz and drawing between 130 to 180W. Could this be related to power consumption and whether a different PSU would help? Even though I've been building my own PC for a while, I haven't faced these kinds of questions before. I'd really appreciate any advice or data you can share—feel free to send me 3DMark results or any other details if you think they'd be useful.
Thanks for the guidance! I've placed an order for the MSI MPG A850GS with PCIe 5.1 850W ATX 3.1 specs. It should arrive next week, and I'm hoping it will make a noticeable improvement.
I recently learned more about the AGS and it looks like an upgrade over the previous AG lineup. The AG850GS seems like a strong choice, so I’d consider swapping back to the 3060 12GB and keep using this GPU until you get the new PSU. I wouldn’t rely on the 5070 Ti with that NOX power supply. While I’m being careful, I’d rather be safe than risk something.
