Speed tests and downloading from Steam show around 950mbps. Streaming on YouTube or similar platforms usually drops below 3mbps, sometimes even kbps. 720p is the only option without constant buffering. This issue has been ongoing for a few weeks; I've checked ip settings, netsh commands, and performed network resets. A WiFi extender works fine on the same cable (net gear ethernet splitter), so I’m thinking about a clean installation. Anyone have suggestions before I proceed?

Start with a running Ubuntu image on a USB drive and verify the problem there initially. If no issues appear, it suggests the hardware might be the cause.

Have you explored various browsers to determine if the problem is browser-specific? Ideally, avoid Chromium-based ones like Firefox or vice versa.
