Hi,
I upgraded my old Core 2 Duo to an i3-12100F with Gigabyte H610M S2H V2 DDR4 and 8GB RAM. I initially planned to use the Gigabyte GV-N98TSL-1GI GeForce 9800GT, but it doesn't boot with that GPU. The 9800GT still works in the old system, and the new setup boots fine with another graphics card, so is this just an incompatibility I can't overcome?

I know the 9800GT is outdated and not very reliable, and the UHD730 would have been a better choice. I should have gotten that CPU instead, but I was trying to save money, thinking the GPU would be fine.

I made the changes, I had to turn on CSM in BIOS then everything worked fine.
