Check the files in the documents. After uninstalling with Steam, you may need to remove certain files.

Sure, for instance Skyrim stores .ini files in the documents folder, and removing that folder during uninstallation is essential if the game isn't functioning properly or if you want to delete the Skyrim installation.

It seems there might be confusion about Garry's Mod file locations. If you encounter problems, consider setting up a separate Steam library folder and installing Garry's Mod there.

I removed the files from the Steam folder for Gmod after uninstalling and reinstalling it. Still, nothing has changed. Would Gmod work fine with 4GB GPUs? I don’t have any other ideas.

I solved the issue and I’m feeling pretty confident now. After installing the 1050 Ti and the Nvidia drivers, I was thrilled but completely forgot to uninstall the AMD ones. That was step one I missed. Thanks for your assistance—it really boosts my confidence in the Tech Tips community.
