Hey Battlefield4 fans! Just got back home and I’m excited to jump in, but I keep hitting the same issue. Every time I launch the game, Origin shows an error like “BF4 appears to be NOT installed etc...”. It’s happening with any other title from Origin too. I tried re-downloading it and checking if Origin recognizes it as already installed, but nothing comes up. The download won’t start either, even though my PC is connected and I have a super fast internet connection. I haven’t touched the system or done anything else… Any suggestions? Before I reach out to Origin Support, do you have any idea what might be going on?

She simply transferred the data to another hard drive. This action might cause significant issues since Steam likely stores registry files linked to the original installation. A fresh setup won't function properly because it recognizes registries from the previous version, while the old one can't be used. The safest solution is to restore everything from scratch. Otherwise, dealing with stubborn registry entries could lead to complications. Ideally, using the game's uninstaller to clear problematic files should resolve the problem, but if that doesn't work, you may need to reinstall Windows and obtain a new license to fix the issue. Poor registry files are a major hassle.

He mentioned the starting point didn’t work anymore and suggested I quit playing games. Something shifted unexpectedly... I’m not sure what happened. Thanks for your effort in helping me.
