I’m unsure whether I should share this. Here’s what happened: I bought the monitor two days ago (December 20) and received it the next day (December 21). I was thrilled, finally replacing my old 22" 1680x1050 60Hz model with a new 31.5" 2560 x 1440 165Hz one. On the first day it worked fine—just watched movies and played games. But today (December 22), about 1-3 hours ago, a Frozen / dead pixel appeared. I tried several fixes: the “Frozen pixel fixer” website, checking HP’s support page, asking ChatGPT, gently massaging the screen, and using HP’s online warranty tool. All attempts failed. I searched for answers on forums but found nothing useful. The product number isn’t showing up anywhere in the software or on the serial tag. I’m frustrated and disappointed—my family got this HP OMEN for 1049PLN (around 256,72 USD / 368,87 CAD). I don’t want pity or complaints; I just need guidance. Please help me understand what to do next.
