Game is a medieval dynasty PC game with 1080p resolution and 16GB RAM. It runs on an SSD. Occasionally it stutters every few seconds, and performance drops to below 60 FPS even though I capped it at 75 FPS. CPU and GPU usage stay around 50%. Need advice or help?

Occasionally the frame rate holds steady between 70-75 for ten seconds, yet most of the time it hovers near 40, causing stutters every few seconds.

Your processor could be operating at 50% capacity, yet the game likely can't utilize more than four threads concurrently, with each thread running at full capacity. Open the task manager while the game is active and examine the per-thread performance charts.

It would definitely be a strong match for an i5 6500. With its 4 cores and no hyperthreading, it’s likely to run efficiently on that processor. Probably only using a couple of cores would be enough.

Examine the clip, CPU handles all threads similarly while FPS ranges between 30-40.

It's confusing with CPUs; I'm not sure why it shows 50% even when all cores are at full capacity. Let me know if you'd like help clarifying.
