I've noticed some frame drops after installing new hardware. It seems to happen in Valorant, Overwatch, and Fortnite. These drops occur every 30-45 seconds, dropping frames below 30 for a few seconds before returning. I followed all the right steps: fresh Windows 10 install, updated drivers, disabled ShadowPlay, and adjusted video settings. Still no improvement. I'm running Windows 11 now and haven't tested another GPU since my previous one was removed. No visible issues on task manager, but I'm still waiting to see if updating to Windows 11 helps.

I have mixed emotions about this. After updating to Windows 11, my problem disappeared right away without any changes elsewhere. I’ll keep this note for another day and revisit it this evening. If it still works perfectly, I’ll be disappointed; if not, I’m frustrated with the fix.

The only logical answer is that your previous Windows update likely went wrong… Windows 11 handles drivers much better, according to my experience. It might be worth a try. If I were you, I’d consider a fresh install of Windows 10. Do you know if it was already enabled for TPM in Windows 10? That seems unusual.
