I posted a question about 30 minutes ago seeking advice on clearing my drives of unnecessary programs. I followed a suggestion to update and reinstall the OS, but my PC overheated mid-process and now I’m stuck with an error saying it can’t find a bootable OS. I don’t have any disks or CDs, and I’m unsure if I have the full product key. Only the first 21 digits are visible, which feels incomplete. I’m really frustrated by this situation.

After that, you just need to download Windows 10 from Microsoft, use their bootable USB utility, insert the drive, go through BIOS settings, choose the USB as the startup device, and install it. You won't need a key if you had Windows 10 before the issue occurred.
