Hello. I'm not sure if this falls into the right category, but please forgive me ahead of time if it isn't.
Since upgrading to Windows 11 and updating my Nvidia graphics drivers, I've noticed a peculiar issue. It only occurs when the screen turns off due to inactivity. When I turn it back on, my second monitor fails to appear and my main display flickers repeatedly every few seconds. The only fix is opening the Nvidia App, which restores the second screen and stops the flickering. I assumed the app might be a temporary fix, possibly causing driver corruption. After a fresh install of the drivers, the problem persists. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. This situation is quite unusual and beyond my usual experience.
When your display goes dark due to inactivity, it's the GPU that shuts down the output.
