I'm experiencing issues with my recently purchased RTX 3080 in certain games. Even on the cases I mentioned, such as Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance and Marvel Spider-Man, there are problems with lighting and shadows. Is this happening to you too?

Current driver updates, newest motherboard firmware, and full system specifications are available. Recent BIOS versions for your card are also listed.

You haven't noticed any flashes in your video. Maybe I'm entirely unaware of them or they're too subtle. Alternatively, the minor "strobe" on the spirit creation lights could be the cause. Since I don’t have a clear reference, this might just be typical for the game—possibly due to the emulator rather than an issue with the physical 3DS. If you’re not missing them, it could suggest the effect isn’t being displayed directly. The monitor or video cable might also play a role.

The issue appears to be on your side—check the monitor or cable connections.

I'm just getting started with this, but I've got the newest GPU drivers installed even in safe mode. The motherboard BIOS is F4, and my specs are Ryzen 5 5600, RTX 3080, VBIOS 94.02.71.40.BB. The current setup uses Inno3d RTX 3080, Gskill Aegis, 32GB LPDDR16, 3200MHz, and the motherboard model is X570 from Gigabyte Aorus Elite AX with a Seasonic G12 GC 750W 80+ Gold PSU.

I understand now. That strobe effect wasn't typical. It seems unlikely based on what's shown in the video, but could your monitor have a "fast response" feature? Try turning it off or switching to normal mode. There are some fixes mentioned on the Nvidia forum for similar problems. Other than that, I don't see any resolution through standard methods like drivers, DDU, or display cables.

I also attempted to use it in standard mode, but the strobe effect persisted.
